Assam CEE Counselling 2026 - Notification:

Director of Technical Education (DTE), Assam has released notification for Assam CEE 2026 Counselling. Assam CEE Counselling is being held for admission into various BE/B.Tech courses offered by the State Engineering Colleges and other Institutions of Assam. The counselling process will be held in online mode.

The online counselling for admission into the BE/B.Tech courses of State Engineering Colleges and other Institutions, based on the Common Entrance Examination (CEE) 2026, will be conducted as per the schedule announced by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Assam.

Assam CEE 2026 Counselling Eligibility:

The aspiring eligible candidates having CEE 2026 rank are to participate in the online counselling process. The link of the online portal will be available on the official website of DTE Assam for the notified period.

Candidates must upload correct and true data/documents regarding the information and especially:

a) Educational Qualification

b) Date of Birth

c) Caste/ Category

d) CEE 2026 Rank/ Score

e) Permanent Residence Certificate (PRC)

Assam CEE Online Counselling Process:

• The aspiring candidates must keep track of the online counselling process to participate in the counselling process. It is the responsibility of the candidate to provide his/her response within the stipulated time in the online portal.
• Candidates must upload correct and true data/documents regarding the information and especially Educational Qualification, Date of Birth, Caste/Category, CEE 2026 Rank/Score, PRC and other relevant documents.
• If any given information is found false, he/she shall be disqualified at any stage and legal proceedings may be initiated against him/her for misleading the counselling process and depriving genuine candidates.
• The status of allotment of the Institution and Branch of the candidates will be uploaded in the online portal. After publication of Institution and Branch allotment, the candidate must submit the Acceptance Letter in the prescribed format within the stipulated time to receive final allotment.
• Only such candidates who accept the admission offer and take admission at the allotted Institution will be considered for further upgradation of Institution and Branch in the subsequent round of counselling, if any.
• Candidates are required to take admission at the allotted institute within the prescribed schedule notified by DTE Assam.
• Candidates failing to take admission at the allotted institute within the stipulated period without prior information and valid reason, his/her allotted seat will be cancelled and may be allotted to another candidate as per the merit list.
