🏛️ Assam EMRS Guest Teacher Recruitment 2025 – Overview

The Assam State Level EMRS Society, under the Directorate of Tribal Affairs (Plain), Assam, has invited applications from qualified candidates for engagement as Guest Teachers in various Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS) across the state.

The appointments will be purely contractual for the academic session 2025–26 or until the regular appointments are made by NESTS (National Education Society for Tribal Students).

🎓 Educational Qualification for Assam EMRS Recruitment 2025

Candidates applying for Guest Teacher (TGT) posts must fulfill the following eligibility criteria:

• Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject/combination of subjects and in aggregate from a recognized university.
• B.Ed. Degree from an NCTE-approved university/institute.
• Qualified in TET (Teacher Eligibility Test).
• Proficiency in English Medium Teaching is essential.

🎂 Age Limit (as on 01.06.2025)

• Minimum Age: 21 Years
• Maximum Age: 60 Years
• Relaxation:
  • Retired teachers (up to 65 years) from State Govt., KVS, NVS, or reputed CBSE schools may also apply.

💰 Remuneration / Salary Structure

💡 Salary will be consolidated and contractual. No additional allowances are applicable.

📅 Period of Engagement

The engagement is purely temporary and contractual for one academic year (2025–26) or until regular appointments are made by NESTS, whichever is earlier.

Renewal or extension of service depends on performance and approval from the EMRS Society.

The selection will be conducted at the District Level through an evaluation process consisting of academic merit and interview performance.
