- Engineering graduate (BE/BTech) OR
- Postgraduate in Engineering (ME/MTech) OR
- Ph.D. in relevant disciplines (Computer Science, IT, Electronics, Communications, etc.).
- For Deputation/Absorption:
- Officers from Central/State Government/PSUs/Autonomous Bodies holding analogous posts or with 5 years of regular service in Pay Level-13A.
- Experience:
- BE/BTech: 20 years
- ME/MTech: 15 years
- Ph.D.: 10 years
2. Scientist-C
- No. of Posts: 10
- Qualification:
- First Class BE/BTech/MCA OR
- Postgraduate in Engineering/Technology OR
- First Class Postgraduate degree in Science OR
- Ph.D. in relevant disciplines.
- Experience:
- BE/BTech/MCA: 3 years
- Postgraduate in Engineering/Technology: 1 year
- Postgraduate in Science: 3 years
- Ph.D.: No experience required
