- Certificate in Motor Mechanic from a recognized institution or Industrial Training Institute with three years of practical experience in the trade in a reputed workshop, OR three-year Diploma in Automobile Engineering.

2. Constable Motor Mechanic

- Pay Scale: Level - 3 in the Pay Matrix (₹21,700 - ₹69,100 as per 7th CPC).
- Educational Qualification:
- Matriculation or 10th class pass from a recognized Board or Institution; AND
- Industrial Training Institute certificate in the respective trade from a recognized Institution; OR
- Three years of experience in the respective trade from a recognized firm.
- Age Limit: Between 18 and 25 years.
