Eligibility Criteria for UPSC CAPF Recruitment

To apply for the Assistant Commandant position, candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria:

Nationality: Candidates must be citizens of India. However, individuals from Nepal or Bhutan may also be considered with written consent from the Central Government.

Sex: Both Male and Female candidates are eligible for appointment to the post of Assistant Commandants.

Physical Standards: Candidates must meet the prescribed Physical and Medical Standards for admission to Central Armed Police Forces (Assistant Commandants), Examination, 2024 as mentioned in the official Notification.
